#### I understand the term childhood trauma, but I don’t think all the negative experiences would become trauma.
Three years ago I wrote an article about my childhood, a reader mentioned she wanted to give the 8-year-old me a hug.
I was sick since I was born. I only recovered after a surgery at 10. But before that, I was bullied by all my classmates from 1st grade to 4th grade.
There wasn’t anything physical, but they would keep on reminding me that I couldn’t make it to adulthood.
Back then I was just a kid and couldn’t scientifically debunk what they said. Everyday what they said would feel like a nuclear bomb to me mentally. Mom only heard about this when I was in middle school.
One said I could have transferred to a new school then nobody would know my issues. But why did I need to hide like a rat?
I was only sick, and it could be cured. If I was Tyrion Lannister and borned a dwarf, where else could I hide?

We humans are borned the strongest specie on this planet, even tigers and lions are caged in the zoo.
And do you see tigers and lions asking for a hug?
The other animals who are nice or beneficial to us are mostly domesticated; and lots of harmful ones are eradicated by us.
Then humans started to lay hands on its own kind, even at the very beginning. Homo sapiens eradicated Homo neanderthalensis…
Even now different clans, culture or countries continue to war against each other.
You tell me now you need a hug? Why trying to devolve when everyone is evolving?
Only losers want to be understood. They hope the world can understand them, but they don’t understand the world.
Only the strong ones don’t want to be understood, otherwise they could be exploited.
Ofc all the above are not as obvious nowadays. We humans have exploited all other species to an extreme that we could be very nice to our kind. Children nowadays often don’t have to confront the cruel nature environment animals had.
Human society is never cold. If you can’t feel any warmth, try watching the “Animal World.”
